Goodness Gracious Healthy Foods Ltd was established twenty one years ago and is now the U.K’s leading mobile vegetarian catering company; operating four purpose-built catering trailers along with a marquee, an expansion built entirely on quality and reputation. 
In recent years at events such as the Big Chill, Glastonbury, The Secret Garden Party, The Green Man Festival and The Glade, the public regularly expressed their appreciation of the availability of healthy, wholesome food served from well maintained clean units. At the Electric Picnic we won the Bridgstone Healthiest Buzz Award in 2008. The response from event organizers was equally positive. At Womad we have previously won the top award for our standards of food hygiene, this contest was between sixty different catering companies.
Our emphasis has always been to serve products of the highest quality. Our cakes are home-made, two of our veggie burgers are made to our own recipe, using locally baked wholemeal rolls along with preparing a thirteen-ingredient salad each morning. Our tea and coffee is all Fairtrade. These together with Falafel’s, Hummus and salad in pitta, combine to offer the public a standard and choice rarely seen in mobile catering.
We pride ourselves on our green credentials all our trucks are run on non palm oil bio-diesel produced from locally sourced recycled vegetable oil. We only use bio-degradable packaging, which is kept to a minimum, and our trailers only use low voltage lighting. In 2007 we won the silver award for green awareness at Glastonbury, this meant that out of all the stalls both craft and food, we were the second greenest on the Glastonbury site. |
